We offer a range of fitness classes depending on where you are in your motherhood journey and what type of workouts you enjoy.
Babies are more than welcome to come along to all sessions, so no need to worry about childcare. Plus we have everything you need to hand – comfy seats for feeding, nappy changers, toys, muslins, carriers and lift access – perfect for prams and car seats.
Designed by Jo Watson and Lily Gredley – two of the leading pre and post-natal trainers in London, Mum Society enables women to feel empowered and strong throughout the stages of pregnancy and parenthood. Between them they have over a decade of experience, top UK level pre and post-natal qualifications & further international recognition, four children and busy working lives – so they fully understand the life and physical changes that come in conjunction with having a family.
Every pregnancy and birth is different, so upon your first – visit you receive a full complimentary screening enabling a full assessment of your physical health, strength, nutrition and lifestyle habits. Through this they are able to understand what your body needs and compile the perfect package for you.
We run group classes throughout pregnancy and mom and babies classes from six weeks post birth up to 1 year of age. We keep our groups small at a maximum capacity of 8 moms, so that we can really focus on you and bring the BEST training for you. The Mum Society community is one that aims to provide information, support and laughter throughout pregnancy and motherhood. We aren’t here to judge your parenting choices; but to physically and mentally revive you, so you can be the best parent to your children. Classes are available in packs for 5 at £110 or 10 at £210.
This class has been created to give you a full body workout and concentrates on the areas that need to be strong throughout pregnancy, birth and the early months as a new mom. As well helping alleviate those common pregnancy aches and pains. All exercises are low impact and safe for you and baby – but expect to feel the burn!
An essential for all women post birth. No matter what type of labour and birth you had, after babies arrival you will need to participate in a core rehab programme. Our classes safely rebuild your abdominal wall, by reconnecting deep muscular pathways and using your breath to ensure the correct engagement. Not only does this class build the foundations to regain abdominal strength, but also helps alleviate back pain, pelvic floor issues, diastasis and stretch mark and C section scaring.
Mom and Baby Classes
Perfect for new moms wanting to get back into exercise. We keep things fresh with a different workout each class, whilst maintaining a focus on the areas that need to be strong for motherhood and blasting the unwanted extra baby weight. Expect a circuit style workout with various options for all abilities and exercises that allow you to hold/ sling carry a baby.
Fit Mom and Baby Classes
For moms who gave birth over six months and regularly exercising since. This is our most dynamic class and is preparing you to return to general fitness classes. Expect a high intensity full body workout incorporating cardio, strength and those harder demands on our pelvic floor and core muscles. Babies are of course welcome!
One to one training sessions are ideal if you are nervous about exercising during pregnancy or returning to exercise post birth. These sessions are tailored specifically to you and allow us to focus on specific areas of weakness, pain and strength training.
